Ingredients
4 tael (151g) fish fillets
1 tael (38g) Five-willow
Egg Mixture
suitable amount of salt
1 tsp corn starch
1/2 egg
Sweet and Sour Sauce
4 tbsp white vinegar
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp Heinz Ketchup
suitable amount of salt
Preparation
- Boil the sweet and sour sauce. Mix ingredients for the egg mixture. Set aside.
- Cut fish fillets into thin slices. Coat fish slices with egg mixture and corn starch in exact order. Set aside.
- Deep fry fish slices till golden brown (or pan fry for 3 to 5 minutes). Dish up.
- Add five-willow to the sweet and sour sauce and bring to the boil. Cook the sauce to thicken. Cover fried fish fillets with sauce.
